Reminder - Continuing Education

As a reminder, before we can renew your license in March 2026, all continuing education requirements must be met.

Beginning this cycle, all agents and brokers must complete the following:
-Conduct CE course (5-7 hours, depending on license level)
-10 hours of Professional Development CE on topics approved by FSRA

The easiest way for completion is through the REMIC mortgage CE bundle that we recommended in mid-2025 (remic.ca/mortgage-ce); however, professional development hours are available through MPC and other third-party sources as well. If you have any questions as to what qualifies, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

As a reminder, all certificates must be sent to FC’s leadership team (you can email James@fcfunding.ca) for record keeping purposes. You also need to keep your own records of the following information:
-Course name
-Course provider
-Number of hours
-Date of completion

We recommend completing these requirements early (January-February 2026) so that there are no delays with your relicensing. For those agents who we have not received record of completion by February 28, 2026, we will be persistently following up so that both you and the brokerage have time to complete the requirements.

Additionally, when completing your licensing renewal, you will be asked for information about your Professional Development CE. Please note that the Cybersecurity and AML courses are each considered 5 hour courses; you can input the information based on having completed those two topics.

Any questions, please feel free to reach out.
